On Board Diagnosis Logic
To judge the malfunction, the output voltage from the heated oxygen sensor 1 (front) is monitored to determine wheather the output voltages are specified ranges.
DTC Confirmation Procedure
NOTE
If "DTC Confirmation Procedure" has been previously conducted, always turn ignition switch "OFF" and wait at least 1 second before conducting the next test.
With CONSULT-II
- 1Start engine and warm it up to normal operating temperature.
- 2Turn ignition switch "OFF" and wait at least 1 second.
- 3Turn ignition switch "ON".
- 4Select "DATA MONITOR" mode with CONSULT-II.
- 5Restart engine and let it idle for 3 minutes.
- 6If 1st trip DTC is detected, go to "Diagnostic Procedure", EC-7123.
