E — CHECK COMPONENT (Fuel pump relay). 1) Reconnect fuel pump relay, fuel pump harness connector and E.C.U. harness connector. 2) Turn ignition switch "ON". 3) Perform "FUEL PUMP CIRCUIT" in "FUNCTION TEST" mode with CONSULT. OR 3) Turn fuel pump relay "ON" and "OFF" in "ACTIVE TEST" mode with CONSULT and check operating sound. OR Refer to "Electrical Components Inspection". (See page EF&EC 171 - 180)

Check E.C.U. pin terminals for damage or poor connection of E.C.U. harness connector.
