How to Erase DTC (With CONSULT-II)

Erase DTC with CONSULT-II

    If the ignition switch stays "ON" after repair work, be sure to turn ignition switch "OFF" once. Wait at least 9 seconds and then turn it "ON" (engine stopped) again.

    Touch "ENGINE".
    CONSULT-II screen-flow: SELECT SYSTEM (ENGINE, A/T) → SELECT DIAG MODE (SELF-DIAG RESULTS, DATA MONITOR, DTC WORK SUPPORT, TCM PART NUMBER) → SELF-DIAG RESULTS (SHIFT SOLENOID/V A) → ERASE; then second flow: SELECT SYSTEM (ENGINE, A/T) → SELECT DIAG MODE (WORK SUPPORT, SELF-DIAG RESULTS, DATA MONITOR, DATA MONITOR (SPEC), ACTIVE TEST, DTC & SRT CONFIRMATION, ECM PART NUMBER) → SELF-DIAG RESULTS (SFT SOL A/CIRC [P0750] TIME 0) → ERASE.

    Touch "SELF-DIAG RESULTS".

    Touch "ERASE". (The DTC in the ECM will be erased.)
The emission-related diagnostic information can be erased by selecting "ERASE" in the "SELF-DIAG RESULTS" mode with CONSULT-II.

How to Erase DTC (With GST)

  1. 1
    If the ignition switch stays "ON" after repair work, be sure to turn ignition switch "OFF" once. Wait at least second and then turn it "ON" (engine stopped) again.
  2. 2
    Select Mode 4 with GST (Generic Scan Tool).
The emission-related diagnostic information can be erased by selecting Mode 4 with GST (Generic Scan Tool).
