DTC P0125 ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE (ECT) SENSOR; Diagnostic Procedure (Cont'd); Steps 4-6; Component Inspection
EF & EC-7099prose procedureSource typos preserved: "engine collant" for "engine coolant" in Step 5; "82 (179)" appears to be missing the °C unit. Component Inspection table omits the -10 (14) row that appears on EF & EC-7096; preserved as printed.

Diagnostic Procedure (Cont'd)
Step 4 — CHECK ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR
- 1Refer to "Component Inspection", EC-7099.
- 2OK or NG: - OK → GO TO 5. - NG → Replace engine coolant temperature sensor.
Step 5 — CHECK THERMOSTAT OPERATION
- 1When the engine is cooled [lower than 82 (179), for cold area 88°C (180°F)], condition grasp lower radiator hose and confirm the engine collant does not flow.
- 2OK or NG: - OK → GO TO 6. - NG → Repair or replace engine thermostat. Refer to LC-section, "Thermostat".
Step 6 — CHECK INTERMITTENT INCIDENT
- 1Perform "TROUBLE DIAGNOSIS FOR INTERMITTENT INCIDENT", EC-7070.
- 2→ INSPECTION END.
