CHECK COMPONENTS (Ignition coil, resistor and power transistor). Refer to Electrical Components Inspection.

Replace malfunctioning component(s).

Check ECM pin terminals for damage or poor connection of ECM harness connector.

NOTE

Perform FINAL CHECK by the following procedure after repair is completed.

FINAL CHECK

Erase the self-diagnosis memory.

Perform test drive.

Perform self-diagnosis again.

Recheck ECM pin terminals for damage or the connection of ECM harness connector.
