DTC Confirmation Procedure (Cont'd)

With CONSULT-II

  1. 1
    Warm up engine to normal operating temperature.
  2. 2
    Turn ignition switch "ON" and select "DATA MONITOR" mode with CONSULT-II.
  3. 3
    Restart engine and run it for at least 3 minutes at idle speed.
  4. 4
    If 1st trip DTC is detected, go to "Diagnostic Procedure", EC-7127.

With GST

  1. 1
    Warm up engine to normal operating temperature.
  2. 2
    Turn ignition switch "OFF" and wait at least 1 second.
  3. 3
    Start engine and run it for at least 3 minutes at idle speed.
  4. 4
    Turn ignition switch "OFF" and wait at least 1 second.
  5. 5
    Restart engine and run it for at least 3 minutes at idle speed.
  6. 6
    Select "MODE 3" with GST.
  7. 7
    If DTC is detected, go to "Diagnostic Procedure", EC-7127.
