- 11Remove camshaft position sensor (PHASE).Do not allow any magnetic materials to contact the camshaft position sensor (PHASE).Be careful not to damage sensor.
NEM363 - 12Remove cam sprocket cover.
- 13Remove chain tensioner.
UEM047 - 14Loosen idler sprocket bolt.
- 15Remove camshaft sprocket bolts.
- 16Remove camshaft sprockets.
- 17Remove cylinder head front bolts.
NEM364 - 18Remove idler sprocket bolt.
- 19Drain engine oil.
- 20Remove upper timing chain.
NEM371 - 21Remove oil pan. Refer to "Removal" in "OIL PAN".
- 22Remove oil strainer.
- 23Remove crankshaft pulley.
- 24Support engine with a suitable jack.
UEM048 - 25Remove engine front mounting bracket.
