- 2Apply liquid gasket to inner sealing surface as shown at left.Bead applied 7 mm (0.28 in) inboard of each bolt hole, on the inner side of the groove.
SEM909B - 3Apply a continuous bead of liquid gasket to mating surface of oil pan.Attaching should be done within 5 minutes after coating.
NEM249 - 4Install oil pan and tighten bolts gradually in two or three stages.Wait at least 30 minutes before refilling engine oil.Oil pan bolts torque: 10 N·m (1.02 kg-m, 88.5 in-lb)
