- 27Remove front cover bolts and front cover as shown.
UEM049 - 28Remove lower timing chain tension guide.
NEM043 - 29Remove lower tensioner.
- 30Remove idler sprocket shaft.
- 31Remove lower timing chain.
- 32Remove oil pump drive spacer.
- 33Remove crankshaft sprocket.
Inspection
IMPORTANT
Check for cracks and excessive wear at roller links. Replace if necessary.
