REMOVAL
Rocker cover removal
- 1Remove spark plug leads.
- 2Disconnect hoses and A/T kickdown cable (if fitted).
- 3Reposition the accelerator cable for access, and remove the rocker cover.
ASSEMBLY
Rocker cover assembly
- 1Apply sealant to the cylinder head in the areas shown. Bead diameter 3.0 mm at each camshaft-bearing-cap saddle on both sides of the head.
UEM033 - 2Apply sealant to the gasket in the areas shown. Apply sealant tabs starting 20 mm in from each gasket end.
