- 3Clean oil filter mounting surface on CVT. Coat rubber seal of new oil filter with CVT fluid.
SMA010 - 4Screw in the oil filter until a slight resistance is felt, then tighten additionally 2/3 turn.
NAT339 - 5Add CVT fluid. Oil filter tightening torque: 12 - 13 N·m (1.22 - 1.42 kg-m, 9 - 18 ft-lb)
Differential Side Oil Seal Replacement
- 1Remove drive shaft assemblies. Refer to FA section ("Drive Shaft", "FRONT AXLE").
- 2Remove oil seals.
SAT660J - 3Install oil seals. Apply CVT fluid to oil seal surface before installing. Install oil seals so that dimensions "A" and "B" are within specifications.
JAT177K - 4Reinstall any part removed.
