Assembly steps 52-61
- 52Ensure that the engine brake lever contacts the rear of ratio sensor adjusting bolt.
UAT264 - 53Partially tighten the valve securing bolts.
- 54Support the valve body by hand, and remove the SST holder.
- 55Tighten the valve bolts. Torque = 8.5 - 9.5 N·m (0.87 - 0.97 kg-m, 6 - 7 ft-lb)
- 56Connect the modulator rod.
UAT265 - 57Fit Tool as shown.
- 58Slacken off the adjuster bolt.
- 59Push the adjuster plate in the direction of the arrow, and tighten the bolt to remove linkage free play. Remove the tool. Adjust bolt torque = 3 - 4 N·m (0.31 - 0.41 kg-m, 2 - 3 ft-lb)
UAT266 - 60Fit the cable.
UAT267 - 61Fit the harness connector.
