Component Inspection

INPUT PULLEY SPEED SENSOR

Input pulley speed sensor component inspection

    Jacking up the vehicle.
  2. 2
    Ignition switch to "ON" position.
  3. 3
    Check voltage between input pulley speed sensor harness connector E146 terminals 1 and 3. Battery voltage should exist.
    Voltage/pulse check setup. Top: voltmeter V probes between E146 terminals 1 and 3. Bottom: CONSULT-II hooked to E146 connector (terminals 1, 2, 3) with PULSE input and DDL line going to data link connector. CONNECT/H.S. icons.

    Check pulse by using the pulse measurement function of CONSULT-II when front wheel rotating.
At front wheel rotating [D position, 20 km/h (12 MPH)]
