TROUBLE DIAGNOSES FOR NON-DETECTABLE ITEMS — Line Pressure Control Sensor, CVT Fluid Temperature Sensor

AT-7116spec table

Terminal 27 listed here as P/L wire color; earlier P1791 reference table on AT-7107/AT-7116 listed it as B/R. Transcribed as printed on this page; may be a manual inconsistency between sections.

Line Pressure Control Sensor, CVT Fluid Temperature Sensor

SYMPTOM

SPORT indicator lamp does not come on in TCM self-diagnostic procedure even the lamp circuit is good.

DESCRIPTION

Line pressure control sensor: Line pressure is controlled by a signal sent from TCM to generate the line pressure necessary for torque transmission by steel belt. The pressure is returned from the line pressure sensor to TCM, and it is regulated continuously to maintain the target oil pressure.
CVT fluid temperature sensor: The CVT fluid temperature sensor detects the CVT fluid temperature and sends a signal to the TCM.
