On Board Diagnosis Logic
LINE PRESSURE SEN — SPORT indicator lamp does not come on.
Malfunction is detected when ...TCM detects that the difference between target value and actual value exceeds the specified value continuously for more than the specified time.
Check items (Possible cause)Harness or connectors (The solenoid circuit is open or shorted.); Line pressure sensor
CVT TEMP SEN/CIRC — SPORT indicator lamp does not come on.
Malfunction is detected when ...TCM receive an excessively low or high voltage from the sensor.
Check items (Possible cause)Harness or connectors (The sensor circuit is open or shorted.); CVT fluid temperature sensor
Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Confirmation Procedure
CAUTION
Always drive vehicle at a safe speed.
NOTE
If "DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE" has been previously conducted, always turn ignition switch "OFF" and wait at least 5 seconds before conducting the next test.
NOTE
After the repair, perform the following procedure to confirm the malfunction is eliminated.
With CONSULT-II
- 1Turn ignition switch "ON" and select "DATA MONITOR" mode for "ENGINE" with CONSULT-II.
SAT651J - 2Start engine and maintain the following conditions for at least 5 consecutive seconds. ENG SPEED: 500 rpm or more O/P PULLY SIG: 10 km/h (6MPH) or more THRTL POS SEN: More than approximately 0.7 - 0.8V If the check result is NG, go to "Diagnostic Procedure", AT-7116.
Without CONSULT-II
- 1Start engine.
- 2Drive vehicle in D position.
- 3Perform "SELF-DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE (Without CONSULT-II)", AT-7028. Follow the procedure "With CONSULT-II".
