Control Mechanism (Cont'd)

LINE PRESSURE CONTROL

To generate the oil pressure, necessary for torque transmission by steel belt, in the output pulley, the system detects the vehicle status such as engine speed and throttle position, and supplies the optimum oil pressure to TCM. Then sends the signal to the line pressure control solenoid valve to control the line pressure, and supplies the specified oil pressure to the output pulley. The actual line pressure is detected by a line pressure sensor, and feedback control is performed to obtain accurate line pressure.
