Assembly steps 67-73
- 67Position the pitot tube as shown.
UAT274 - 68Fit a new oil pump gasket in to position.
- 69Fit a new O ring to the oil pump.
- 70Fit the oil pump to the casing.
- 71Tighten the bolts evenly. Torque = 9.5 - 10.5 N·m (0.97 - 1.07 kg-m, 7 - 8 ft-lb)
UAT275 - 72Install the oil pump drive shaft.
- 73Fit the oil cooler check valve and pipes.Use new sealing washers. Do not re-use old ones.Torque = Inlet = 32 - 37 N·m (3.3 - 3.8 kg-m, 24 - 28 ft-lb)Torque = Outlet = 35 - 43 N·m (3.6 - 4.4 kg-m, 26 - 32 ft-lb)When fitting the outlet pipe, tighten the joint nut first, then the flare nut.When fitting the inlet pipe, ensure that there is more than 3 mm clearance between the pipe and the shift connecting rod, when the rod is in "N" position.
