AT-7061flowchart

Diagnostic Procedure (Cont'd)

3. CHECK INPUT SIGNAL OF CVT FLUID TEMPERATURE SENSOR (Without CONSULT-II)

  1. 1
    Without CONSULT-II: Start engine.
  2. 2
    Check voltage between TCM terminal 28 and ground while warming up CVT. Voltage: Cold [20 deg C (68 deg F)] -> Hot [80 deg C (176 deg F)]: Approximately 2.4V -> 0.8V.
    Voltage check between TCM connector terminal 28 (P/PU) and ground using voltmeter, with TCM connector still connected.
    SAT420JA
  3. 3
    Turn ignition switch to "OFF" position.
  4. 4
    Disconnect TCM harness connector.
  5. 5
    Check continuity between terminal 43 and ground. Continuity should exist.
    Continuity check between TCM connector terminal 43 (W/B) and ground using ohmmeter, with TCM harness connector disconnected and ignition OFF.
