DTC P1763 CLUTCH PRESSURE CONTROL SOLENOID CIRCUIT — Diagnostic Procedure

AT-7098flowchart

Clutch pressure solenoid coil impedance (3-5 Ω) is roughly half that of the shift/line-pressure solenoids (6-10 Ω). Capture as printed.

Diagnostic Procedure

1
1. CHECK GROUND CIRCUIT — Turn ignition switch to "OFF". Disconnect terminal cord assembly connector in engine compartment. Check resistance between clutch pressure control solenoid valve connector F302 terminal 4 and ground. Resistance: 3 - 5 Ω.
NG
Replace CVT assembly
OK
2
2. CHECK POWER SOURCE CIRCUIT — Turn ignition switch to "OFF". Disconnect TCM harness connector. Check continuity between clutch pressure control solenoid valve connector F302 terminal 4 and TCM harness connector F46 terminal 1. Continuity should exist. If OK, check harness for short to ground and short to power. Reinstall any part removed.
NG
same as step 1
OK
3
3. CHECK DTC — Perform Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) confirmation procedure, AT-7094.
NG
1. Perform TCM input/output signal inspection. 2. If NG, recheck TCM pin terminals for damage or loose connection with harness connector.
OK
