  1. 8c-rs5f31v
    Install mainshaft assembly.
    Take care not to damage oil channel when inserting mainshaft into clutch housing.
    RS5F31V — hands installing the mainshaft assembly down into the clutch housing alongside the input shaft and final drive.

    Apply grease to shifter caps, then install it to control bracket. Install control bracket with 1st & 2nd shift fork.
    Installation of control bracket with 1st & 2nd shift fork, then 3rd & 4th and 5th shift forks onto the gear train inside the clutch housing.

    Install 3rd & 4th and 5th shift forks.

    Insert fork shaft.
    Apply multi-purpose grease to support spring before installing.
    Hand using a tool to insert the fork shaft through the shift forks and clutch housing; support spring must be greased before installing.

    Install reverse idler spacer.

    Apply recommended sealant to mating surface of clutch housing.

    Install transmission case on clutch housing.
