Final-drive assembly

    Install side gear spacer in its position with grease.
    Differential case shown vertically with the side-gear spacer being seated inside; a black arrow points down into the case bore at the spacer's mounting position. A loose spacer ring sits to the left of the case.

    Fit side gears, then install pinion mate washers and pinion mate gears in place.

    Turn pinion mate gears and washers in the correct position.
    Differential case with a pin / punch inserted from the left being used to drive the pinion-mate shaft into place; a circular arrow on the case shows the rotation needed to align pinion mate gears and washers. The retaining circlip floats above the case.

    Install pinion mate shaft and secure it with the circlip.

    Install new differential side bearing inner races.
    Differential side-bearing inner race being pressed onto the case using drift tool KV32910013 from above. The label 'KV32910013' is called out on the press tool.

    Install a new speedometer drive gear.
