    Apply gear oil to 3rd gear inner surface, then install 3rd gear and 3rd baulk ring, then press 3rd-4th synchronizer hub. Pay attention to the direction of 3rd-4th synchronizer hub.

    Install snap ring of proper thickness that will minimize clearance of groove in mainshaft.
    Allowable clearance of groove: 0 - 0.015 mm (0 - 0.0059 in).

    Apply gear oil to 4th gear inner surface, then install 4th baulk ring and 4th gear.

    Apply gear oil to inner and outer surface of 5th gear bushing, then install 5th gear bushing and 5th gear.
