Mainshaft assembly (continued)

    Install 5th baulk ring and 5th synchronizer assembly.
    Hand placing the 5th synchronizer assembly (with 5th baulk ring) onto the top of the mainshaft above 5th gear.

    Install mainshaft front and rear bearing inner race.
    Press fixture with two tools shown (top and lower) used to install the mainshaft front and rear bearing inner races onto the assembled mainshaft.

    Measure gear end play. Regarding the description, refer to Disassembly of Mainshaft and Gears.
