Transaxle disassembly

  1. 1
    Before removing transaxle case, remove bolts and plugs shown below.
    Top bolt is 5-speed only.
    Transaxle case exterior with bolts and plugs to be removed before separating the case. A '5-speed only' callout points to one bolt at the top.

    Remove position switch.

    Take off transmission case, then remove guide plate and reverse bracket assembly.
