Transaxle assembly (continued)

    Install mainshaft assembly with shift fork assembly and input shaft assembly on clutch housing as a unit.
    Mainshaft assembly with shift fork assembly and input shaft assembly being installed onto the clutch housing as a unit.

    Check to make sure that grooves in change shift lever and striking lever are engaged properly. Also make sure that both select inner lever and fork rod are engaged at their grooves.

    Secure shift rod plate with bolts.
    Securing the shift rod plate to the case using bolts.

    Slightly raise both input shaft and mainshaft assembly and place final drive assembly into clutch housing.
    Both input shaft and mainshaft assembly raised slightly to allow the final drive assembly to be placed into the clutch housing.

    Lower both input shaft and mainshaft assembly to their original positions inside clutch housing. Install bearing retainer.
