Repair Procedure 2 — Symptom: Warning lamp does not come on

A — Check the warning lamp fuse.
NG
Replace the fuse.

B — CHECK AIR BAG WARNING LAMP CIRCUIT. 1) Disconnect combination meter connectors (M36), (M37). 2) Turn ignition switch "ON". 3) Measure voltage between combination meter connector terminals (28) and (12). Terminals: (28) — (5) → Battery voltage.

Replace main harness.

Check the warning lamp LED.
NG
Replace the warning lamp LED.
OK
4
1) Turn ignition switch "OFF", disconnect battery ground cable and wait for at least 10 minutes. 2) Remove air bag module. 3) Replace steering wheel assembly (including diagnosis sensor unit). 4) Install air bag module. 5) Check if warning lamp comes on when turning ignition switch "ON".

Check air bag warning lamp circuit again.
