Using the Warning Lamp
NOTE
Self-diagnosis results can be read by using the "AIR BAG" warning lamp. The "AIR BAG" warning lamp operates as shown below.
NOTE
CONSULT cannot be used for trouble diagnoses.
Warning Lamp Operation
Light check — ON for approximately 7 sec at IGN-ON, then OFF.
MeaningNormal — SRS is functioning correctly.
Blinking — 0.5 s ON / 0.5 s OFF continuously.
MeaningAir bag is deployed or SRS is malfunctioning. Check the SRS immediately.
Lamp does not come ON at IGN-ON.
MeaningMalfunction detected (lamp circuit or DSU failure).
Lamp stays continuously ON (no 7-sec OFF transition).
MeaningMalfunction detected — SRS fault.
