TROUBLE DIAGNOSES — Diagnostic Procedure 7 — ABS Actuator Relay / ABS Warning or Circuit (L.E.D. continuously on)
BR-69flowchartSource prints 'Disconect' (typo) — captured verbatim. Diagnostic Procedure 7 covers 'L.E.D. continuously on' — the ABS lamp won't extinguish after engine start. Test order is alternator-L → actuator power supply → relay check → relay-socket continuity → harness → warning-lamp circuit (BR-70).
Diagnostic Procedure 7
ABS ACTUATOR RELAY, ABS WARNING OR CIRCUIT (L.E.D continuously on)
1
A — CHECK ALTERNATOR CIRCUIT. Start the engine. Disconnect ABS Control Unit connector. Check voltage between terminal 33 body harness side and body ground. Voltage: 12V.
N.G.
Check alternator circuit.
O.K.
2
CHECK ELECTRIC CIRCUIT. Disconect actuator connector. Check voltage between terminal ⑯ body harness side and body ground. Voltage: 12V.
N.G.
Check electric circuit.
O.K.
3
Perform individual actuator relay check. Refer to "Individual Component Check".
N.G.
Replace actuator relay.
O.K.
4
C — CHECK ACTUATOR RELAY CIRCUIT. Disconnect actuator connector. Check continuity between actuator connector terminals and relay side terminals: 12-86 0Ω; 13-85 0Ω; 11-30 0Ω; 14-87a 0Ω; 16-87 0Ω.
N.G.
Replace actuator.
O.K.
5
D — CHECK HARNESS CONTINUITY. Remove connector of Control Unit. Check continuity between body harness side connectors of Control Unit and actuator: Terminal 16-12 0Ω; 35-13 0Ω.
N.G.
Repair harness between Control Unit and actuator.
O.K.
6
Perform "ABS WARNING CIRCUIT" check.
