Stoplamp-switch test only branches into the diag tree if the technician actually pressed the brake pedal during self-diagnoses — otherwise the false-positive resolution is just to redo the self-diag.

A — CHECK STOPLAMP SWITCH POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT. Remove connector of ABS Control Unit. Check voltage between terminal ㊸ and body ground. Voltage: When pressing brake pedal: 12V. When not pressing brake pedal: 0V.
