    Fit piston assembly to caliper. Ensure seal is seated correctly.
    Step 5: piston assembly being fitted into the cylinder bore; arrow indicates insertion direction. Verify piston seal is correctly seated in its groove.

    Fit piston by turning it clockwise with suitable long nose pliers.
    Step 6: long-nose pliers rotating the piston clockwise to screw it into the cylinder until seated.

    Fit parking brake lever and tighten stopper bolt.
    Steps 7-8: parking-brake lever fitted to caliper with stopper bolt (callout 1), then return spring fitted (callout 2) in the order shown.

    Fit return spring in the order shown.

Installation

  1. 1
    Install brake hose to caliper securely.
  2. 2
    Install all parts and secure all bolts.
  3. 3
    Bleed air. Refer to "Bleeding Procedure" in "AIR BLEEDING".
