Removal

WARNING

Clean brake pads with a vacuum dust collector to minimize the hazard of airborne material.

CAUTION

Suspend caliper assembly with wire so as not to stretch brake hose.

NOTE

Remove torque member fixing bolts and brake hose connecting bolt.

NOTE

It is not necessary to remove connecting bolt except for disassembly or replacement of caliper assembly.

530 - 628N·m

Main pin bolt

22 - 32N·m (2.2 - 3.3 kg·m, 16 - 24 ft·lb)

Connecting bolt (brake hose)

28 - 34N·m (2.9 - 3.5 kg·m, 21 - 25 ft·lb)

Bleed valve

7 - 13N·m (0.71 - 1.32 kg·m, 5 - 10 ft·lb)
