Removal

  1. 1
    Drain fluid from system.
    Photograph of the power-steering reservoir off the vehicle, mounted to its bracket. Visible: cap on top of the reservoir, two stub pipes on the lower-right where feed and return hoses connect, and the body bolts on the bracket.

    Slacken hose retaining clips and remove feed and return hoses from reservoir.
  3. 3
    Remove Bolts (3) securing reservoir to vehicle body.

Installation

  1. 1
    Installation is the reverse procedure to removal.

    Ensure hoses are fitted to reservoir correctly and do not interfere with drive belts.
  3. 3
    Refill reservoir as described in installation procedure of power steering rack and check fluid level after bleeding hydraulic system.
