HA-48flowchartDiagnostic Procedure 2 (Cont'd)
Magnet clutch does not operate — A/C relay branch
1
A — From previous page (N.G. on compressor power-supply test).
O.K.
2
Disconnect A/C relay harness connector.
3
B — Check circuit continuity between A/C relay harness terminal No. 5 and compressor harness terminal No. 25.
O.K.
4
C — CHECK POWER SUPPLY FOR A/C RELAY. Disconnect A/C relay. Do approx. 12 volts exist between A/C relay harness terminal No. 2, 3 and body ground?
N.G.
CHECK POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT AND 10A FUSE AT FUSE BLOCK. (Refer to POWER SUPPLY ROUTING in EL section and Wiring Diagram.)
O.K.
5
CHECK A/C RELAY AFTER DISCONNECTING IT. (Refer to Electrical Components Inspection.)
N.G.
Replace A/C relay.
O.K.
6
Reconnect A/C relay.
7
D — CHECK COIL SIDE CIRCUIT OF A/C RELAY. Do approx. 12 volts exist between E.C.C.S. control unit harness terminal No. 11 and body ground?
N.G.
E — Check circuit continuity between A/C relay harness terminal No. 1 and E.C.C.S. control unit harness terminal No. 11.
O.K.
8
B — Go to next page.
NOTE
If the result is N.G. after checking circuit continuity, repair harness or connector.
