Wheel hub and knuckle removal
- 1Remove wheel bearing lock nut while depressing brake pedal.
SFA090A - 2Remove brake caliper assembly.Brake hose does not need to be disconnected from brake caliper. Be careful not to depress brake pedal, or piston will pop out.Make sure brake hose is not twisted.Support the caliper. Do not allow it to hang by the brake hose.
SFA110A - 3Remove tie-rod ball joint.Fit the nut (inverted) to the stud to prevent damage to the threads.
SFA372 - 4Separate drive shaft from knuckle by lightly tapping it.Cover boots with waste cloth so as not to damage them when removing drive shaft.
SFA181A - 5Remove strut lower mounting bolts.
