Two CV-joint variants on K11: 75AC and 82AC. Grease quantity and boot length 'L' differ by type.

WHEEL SIDE

Wheel-side joint assembly

    Install boot and new small boot band on drive shaft.
    Cover drive shaft serration with tape so as not to damage boot during installation.
    Replace the circlip and clean out all grease from the joint.
    Drive shaft end with the boot in hand and the splined/serrated section wrapped in 'Tape' before sliding the boot on, to prevent serrations damaging the boot.

    Fit the joint housing to a vice. Align the marks on the shaft and housing, and feed the shaft into the joint. Push the shaft home until the circlip locates in the groove. Pull the shaft to ensure correct assembly.
    Take care not to damage the ABS sensor ring or the dustshield.

    Pack drive shaft with specified amount of grease.
    75AC type: Outer race = 33 mℓ (1.2 Imp fl oz); Boot = 33 mℓ (1.2 Imp fl oz).
    82AC type: Outer race = 33 mℓ (1.2 Imp fl oz); Boot = 52 mℓ (1.8 Imp fl oz).

    Make sure that boot is properly installed on the drive shaft groove. Set boot so that it does not swell and deform when its length is "L".
    Length "L" — 75AC type: 85 - 87 mm (3.35 - 3.42 in); 82AC type: 89 - 91 mm (3.50 - 3.58 in).

    Lock new larger and smaller boot bands securely with a suitable tool.
