Tow Truck Towing

NISSAN recommends that vehicles be towed with the driving (front) wheels off the ground as illustrated.

TOWING AN N-CVT MODEL WITH FOUR WHEELS ON GROUND

Before towing an N-CVT model with four wheels on ground, the N-CVT fluid level should be checked.
Observe the following restricted towing speeds and distances.
SpeedN-CVT, four wheels on ground
Below 30km/h (20 MPH)
DistanceN-CVT, four wheels on ground
Less than 30km (20 miles)

TOWING AN N-CVT MODEL WITH REAR WHEELS RAISED (With front wheels on ground)

Never tow an N-CVT model with rear wheels raised (with front wheels on ground) as this may cause serious and expensive damage to the transaxle. If it is necessary to tow it with rear wheels raised, always use a towing dolly under the front wheels.
