CL-5prose procedureRetaining pins are explicitly marked 'do not re-use' in the legend. Bearing retainer is direction-sensitive — installing it backwards binds the release bearing.
REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
- 1Remove release bearing by pulling bearing retainers outward.
SCL344 - 2Align retaining pin with cavity of clutch housing and tap out retaining pin.

INSPECTION
NOTE
Check the following items, and replace if necessary.
• Release bearing, to see that it rolls freely and is free from noise, cracks, pitting or wear.
• Release sleeve and withdrawal lever rubbing surface, for wear, rust or damage.
